Alex Gets A Helmet

Both of my boys are back sleepers and had acid reflux if they laid flat after eating. Because of that they slept in the swing often to keep them propped up after eating, as well as flat on their back in the crib. Their headshapes are almost identical at the 7 month mark - slightly flat in the back with a wide head. Evan had excellent results after wearing his helmet for over three months. Alex got his helmet this week, so we're hoping for great results as well.

The orthotist cut out a little gap for Alex's hemangioma.  It's very soft and squishy so we did not want to risk rupturing all the blood vessels with the pressure of the helmet. 

We will be decorating it soon.  I can't wait to see the results!
