Bobby Joe let out a loud, "whoooeeeeee!" and the cows came running to the fence. Alex and Evan loved it. The cows were mooing loudly on their stampede to get fed. Tim fed the cows right at the fence line and then held each boy to pet the cows. Jackie and Vince took some great pictures for us.
Evan was held first and Alex was adamant it was his turn. He kept saying, "cow."
They kept smiling and watching the cows eat.
The old dairy barn is behind us. It is no longer in use as the cows are now corn fed and sold for beef. Alex was upset that we had to leave. He kicked and screamed the whole way back to the car. In a few years I may let him stay the day & help the cousins with all the farm work.
One of the cousins suggested I get a pet cow for the boys and I answered that I wouldn't mind as long as it was in the form of filet mignon.
