Savannah

On the way to and from Florida, we stopped in Savannah, Georgia to help break up the trip. We bought our Disney shirts at Walmart in Orlando and wore them on the way home. It was fun walking down River Street, shopping, and buying candy. We took in the historical sites and visited Paula Deen's store. We even had nice enough weather to swim for a few minutes in the hotel pool. It was evening and in the shade, so it was freezing cold water. I did not last long in the water.

Orlando Science Center (again)

In April we found the Orlando Science Center. This place is 4 stories of amazing activities for kids. It's indoors, away from the rain. We enjoyed the big theater that had a laser show, and sandwiches from the busiest Subway I've ever seen. Honestly, this place needs a Chick-fil-A or McDonald's to help with the crowd. They had completely changed their exhibit from April into a superhero exhibit, complete with capes for the kids to wear. Alex was in heaven.

 The bottom level houses a partial zoo with turtles, snakes, alligators, and more. 

 One of the floors had a huge dinosaur exhibit and dig area for the kids. 

 The water area is one of the boys' favorites. 

Crayola Experience

Our 4th day in Orlando was another stormy, rainy day. We purchased tickets to the indoor event, Crayola Experience. It's located at the Florida Mall. This was such a good value with so many activities to keep the boys busy. Evan was a bit overstimulated, as I have never seen so many school groups in my life in one place. I think every daycare in Orlando brought their school groups the day we went. Luckily, the place had loads of options for each group. Alex had a ball doing all the activities. Evan enjoyed the color wall. We left to eat lunch in their amazing food court, then played on the mall indoor playground, before returning to Crayola Experience to finish our day.

I wish our mall had half the selections of this mall's food court.

Disney Springs & Fort Wilderness

Our trip to Disney Springs was cut a little short due to rain storms. We were able to shop around in the big Disney stores, including the candy store. We rode the merry-go-round. We ate in the Rainforest Cafe and listened to thunder inside while it was really thunder-storming outside. That evening after the clouds moved away, Vince & I took Alex to see the free sing-a-long show with Chip & Dale at Disney's Fort Wilderness. Evan chilled out in the condo with my parents and Grayson. I love that they have completely free options for people to participate in events. We did buy the $10 smore's kit, but they were really good.
