Day Camps at Church

Our church offered four different weeks of day camp for the boys this summer.  The first week was Dinosaur Camp. I think this was Alex's favorite as he keeps asking to go back. The second week was Sports Camp. The third week was Ocean Camp (I had Darla make the boys some special shirts for this week). The last week was Camping Camp. The camps ran Monday through Thursday from 9am to 12pm. I'm so glad the boys were able to have fun and learn new things this summer.

VBS 2016

I volunteered this year for Vacation Bible School at our church in Evan's classroom. VBS is for ages 4 and up, unless you volunteer. If you volunteer, you can bring your younger children as well. So both Evan and Alex were able to attend this year. Our schedule was great. We rotated areas every 20 minutes, with the last being music. I took Alex from his classroom to go participate in music with us each night.  Rachel was in town with Cody & Ravyn so Cody tagged along as well. Cody took pictures with a disposable camera his last two nights in case the games were too rough for him. All three boys had a fun time. Evan's favorite by far was the puppet show.

Biltmore in July

We made it through awful traffic to the Biltmore this summer.  The traffic on I-26 is getting worse with more cars and wrecks blocking the way.  I'm hoping they fix this issue soon. The boys loved seeing the animals and playing on the playground at Antler Hill Village at the Biltmore.

On the way home, we stopped in Landrum and ate at The Hare & Hound. The boys loved eating outside and sitting on the horse statue.

July 4th 2016

Our friends, Jessie and Brian, invited us over to celebrate the 4th of July at their house. The boys loved playing with all of Jocelyn's toys.  We enjoyed hamburgers, sides, and a cake that I made. We left before the fireworks began and the boys were in bed asleep before all the noises started.
