Alex turns 1 year old!

I can't believe my baby is already one.  We had a Mickey Mouse themed party at the house with just some immediate family members.  Alex had a fun time opening gifts, but was not too keen on the cake.  Evan and Alex loved the balloons and all the family attention. 

Alex can now walk with ease and tries to almost run.  He says a few words like ball, baa (bottle), night night, no no, mama, dada, and E (Evan). 

He received lots of great gifts including an ornament, clothes, batteries, bath towels, and toys.

Happy New Year 2015

This year we had several people in town to celebrate Alex's first birthday so we were able to celebrate New Year's as well.  We had dinner a local Mexican restaurant and Kim provided the hats for us. After our dinner, we went back to our house and did a few small sparklers and watched the big show on TV.

Christmas 2014

We spent Christmas in Florida this year.  Most of the family was on a cruise, but we did not go as the babies were so young.  In fact, this is Alex's first Christmas!  Time is flying by quickly.  We enjoyed a lot of family time in Florida.  We took the boys to Busch Gardens to see the Christmas lights and ride a few rides.  Evan and Alex liked meeting Elmo, too.  The weather was a nice and sunny 80 degree day.

The family all arrived on Christmas Eve and we partook of our holiday traditional foods, as well as a Christmas feast made by Cracker Barrel.  It was quite tasty.  The boys had a fun time opening stocking gifts and being around all the noise and chaos. Santa came to visit on Christmas Eve.

Yes, Evan got pickles!  He loved them.  Alex loved his pacifiers.

It was a nice, but quick, Christmas. Everyone had a nice time and the weather was great. 

 

 

Alex 11 months old

December 3, Alex turned 11 months old.  Alex is on the go.  He is crawling everywhere and decide right at 11 months old that he would take a few steps on his own.  He has to pull up to stand, but he does it well.  He has so much character and loves to dance by tapping his right foot to any music.  Evan still likes to pull his hair, but Alex is getting better at trying to duck.

Alex loves to smile at everyone.  He's a naturally friendly baby!
