4K Homework

As soon as Alex was out of school in the middle of May, I started him on homework each night, all the way through June. We then took a small break, but have since started back up, making sure he is ready for 4K. The large 300 page book I bought is called Get Ready for Kindergarten. I also bought a few workbooks for 1st grade. Alex has breezed through most of the work. We focused on letters, writing skills, numbers, counting, colors, shapes, sizes, opposites, sight words, science, presidents of the U.S.A., beginning sounds, and the United States. It's hard keeping him on task without distractions, but he absolutely loves doing his homework, and begs for it often. I hope his love of learning continues for many years.
