Halter Horse Therapy Camp

We were so grateful and blessed to have the opportunity for Evan to receive equine therapy this summer. He attended a week long camp at Halter Horse Therapy. The first day we had a rough start as I had the wrong directions to the camp & went an hour out of the way. We arrived very late & he only wanted to eat the sand. However, by the end of day 1, he began to make good progress. By day two, Evan was ready to ride and play. He loved it. By day 3, he actually said, "ride." This is amazing from a nonverbal child. He told me "ride" three times! It's a great program and I hope he gets to attend again the future.

By the last day, he held on and rode with great posture! He even kept the helmet on great.
