Vince and I had been wanting to try out the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot after hearing about it last year. Each country has many samplings of food for $3 - $8 to eat. Although both boys had a cold and pink eye, we braved the trip to Epcot.
We arrived in time to have our photo made with Pluto, right before it started raining.
Later in the day, we stumbled upon Pooh and Tigger in a back room behind the London gift shop (there were no signs or indications of this, Vince happened to see them through a window - to our great luck!)
Evan loved them both. There was no line since it wasn't advertised, so Evan got to visit with them for a while, making them each play patty cake multiple times.
We ate from several countries. Evan shared a gyro with me, and this duck, that snatched the bread right out of Evan's hand when he held it down. It didn't phase Evan at all as he just stared at the duck when it waddled away.
Evan also enjoyed a Belgium waffle. We enjoyed steak, fried cheese, cream brulee, shrimp rolls, egg rolls, escargot (okay those last few were eaten by Vince, not me). I think we ate some Chinese food for dinner, but since it was pouring down rain, I was tired of being at the park and ready to go.
Evan was the only one of us that had a blast playing in the rain water on his stroller tray. He enjoyed every minute of the splashing and was soaked by the time we made it to the car.
Hopefully we will make it back again soon when it's not raining!
