4 Months Old

 I can't believe my little baby is getting so big.  Evan is now 4 months old.  We celebrated on the birthday of our country, July 4th! I made cake balls for the celebration. Evan liked his cakes.

At 4 months old Evan can:

• hold his head up well when sitting or laying on his tummy

• roll from tummy to back (has done so since 6 weeks old)
• rolls to his side from his back
• grabs toys well and can get them to his mouth
• grabs his feet

• eats about 4 ounces of formula per feeding
• coos and talks a lot
• smiles and laughs all the time

• loves a lovee or soft cloth near his face

• can sit or stand with good head control when pulled up with his hands
• sleeps from about 9pm to 6:30am (has done so since 10 weeks old)
• can mimic certain actions such as clapping or strumming a guitar 
• weighs 11 pounds and is 23 1/2 inches long

He is growing up quickly! What a sweet blessing we have!
