Evan's Favorite Toys

For Evan's first 4 months, I wanted to highlight some of his favorite toys that he can grasp well or likes to play with.  He may outgrow them soon so I wanted to capture them before we forgot about them.

Evan loves to play peek-a-boo with something soft.  His favorite is his Big Al elephant lovee (named by my dad for the Alabama football team).  But he will giggle with a burp cloth as well.  He really loves soft things that are plush especially against his face and mouth. This one is Carter's Snuggle Buddy.

He loves the big eyes on toys.  One of his favorites that we hang from his car seat, play toy, and crib is this dragonfly (bug) toy. It's by Bright Starts and has the crinkly sounds and other sensory textures.

The other big eyed toy he likes is this bumblee bee toy.  Bright Starts Buzzing Around is the name of it.  He loves the cloud on it and can put in his mouth easily.  We usually hang it from his bouncy chair. But we do like to swap out his toys so he can play with different ones on the chair.

This Fisher Price Discovery toy is one of those that can convert and grow with him.  Right now, he enjoys looking at himself in the mirror above him while he kicks the piano.  He usually plays on this one in his nursery while I'm putting away his clothes.

This is Evan's beloved bouncy chair.  He got this from a friend so I don't think Fisher Price makes it any longer.  It's the Playful Puppy and plays several songs. We've tried to look up what 2 of the unknown songs are, but can't find it anywhere.  It plays How Much is That Doggie in the Window, If You're Happy and You Know It, and a few others that we do recognize.  He's just now able to reach the two toys that dangle.

 One of the first toys that Evan could grab and hold onto was this Rhino OBall Rattle.  He could transfer it from hand to hand and keep his little fingers wrapped around it well.

 This Sassy Sensory Symphany is a great toy that we let Evan touch while he's on the Tumzee.  The Tumzee keeps him in place on his tummy so he works on holding up his head.  This fish toy plays music and has different textures for him to feel. He really enjoys the music.

 And Evan's number one toy of all time...the Manhattan Toy Winkle Boxed toy.  Or as we like to call it, his ball with loops.  He can grab this one easily, hold on to it even while sleeping, can put it in his mouth easily, and just will not let go of it. This toy is worth it's weight in gold.
