Biltmore House

We took Evan to the Biltmore for his first official visit. We had driven by the Biltmore before, but he only got a quick drive by picture of the outside of the house.  This time, we did the tour. We started at Antler Hill Village and ate lunch at Cedric's Tavern.
 We toured Antler Hill Village.

We tried out the baby carrier for the first time.  Evan liked it and stayed warm and dry (as it did sprinkle rain some, so I put the cover over his head).
 Evan's first wagon.

 Evan's first tractor.

Evan's first petting zoo that included chickens, goats, and horses.

He really liked the chickens. He kept watching them very intently.

He usually will stand on anything, but he did not like the fur on the goat & drew his feet up.
He slept thru the house tour.
We actually got to ride the elevator for the first time since we had a stroller, but it only went to 1 more floor so we left soon afterwards.

We ate some ice cream after our tour in the stable area.  Then Evan woke up in time for some photo ops.

Papa Jerry got to try on the baby carrier.  I'm not sure which one liked it better.
