Evan is 5 Months Old

My how time is flying.  I can't believe Evan is already 5 months old.  He is growing bigger every day.  Some days it looks like he's grown an inch and feels like he's grown a pound by the end of the day.

Some of the things Evan can do now at 5 months old:

• Smiles and laughs
• Grabs toys well and puts them in his mouth
• Talks a lot and can say lots of different letter sounds (M, N, A, I, H, L, etc.) - in fact a speech therapist just this week tested him at a 7 month old level.  No delays there!
• Rolls to his side (still working on this and working on rolling to his tummy from his back)
• Rolls from tummy to back (since 6 weeks old)
• Pulls to sit up with assistance
• Pulls to stand with assistance (and smiles every time he stands)
• Holds his head up well (over 15 minutes)
• Plays with his feet
• Loves music, faces, and hands
• Falls asleep in the car in less than 5 minutes
• Sleeps from 9pm to 6:30am (since 10 weeks old)
• Eats rice cereal, oatmeal, apples, and bananas (2 Tbsp of cereal, 1/2 container of fruit)
• Eats Similac Advance Formula (about 4 to 5 ounces per feeding)
• Props up on elbows and hands while on his tummy (we're working on extending time for these)
• Weighs about 11 1/2 pounds, 23 1/2 " long
• Loves his daddy and smiles best for him

He's a happy baby! We love him more and more every day.  What a cute little blessing we have!
