Yeah! The weekend is here.

Whew! I'm glad the weekend is upon us. I only wish I had Monday off as do so many students & other people do. Mom, Dad & Nathan arrived around 9pm last night.

This morning we went to a pancake benefit breakfast for my friend Lisa's daughter. She is in AZ getting help for an eating disorder.

After breakfast, mom & I went to the yellow mall & did some shopping. The most interesting sale item we found was a pair of gloves at Coach. They were originally $98, but had been marked down to a sale price of $99.99. Um...ok. Most all of the tags had the little $98 piece torn off, but this pair still showed the original price. For some reason that sale looked a little sketchy to me.

When we got home, Vince & Dad were busy clearing out all the vines and thorns in the back yard along the fence line. Mom & I had missed the fire department by a few minutes. Apparantly the neighbors called when they saw the smoke from the brush pile. But they left after they saw that Vince & Dad had it all under control.
