On the second day of Florida, we got up early and headed to the beach to try & beat the rain. It was very overcast but we managed to get in about 1 hour of beach time before it started sprinkling. After a quick trip to the beach, we decided to go watch Twilight: Eclipse at the theater.
After the movie, we swam for a short while & then that evening, we stopped by my cousin Jim's place, Wildlife Survival Sanctuary (http://www.wildlifesurvival.com/index.htm). We visited all the large cats (tigers, leopards, etc.) and the emus. We did our best to avoid the emu poop. Jim showed us the large ostrich egg that one of the ostrich had laid. It was heavy.
As it started getting dark, we headed back to the house to do some small fireworks to celebrate July 4.
